you'll have to do it with the skybox entity, just like Johnny said. or you could try building it with brushes in a seperate "box" and use the _skybox entity. get the outlines of the map (there where every bit of your sky sits) and do 5 "lines" of the small 3d grid in every direct...

it's defenitely a 3d skybox (just like in urt the 3d sky) -
he (the mapper) did it very well, 4-5 grid rows next to every point where you could possibly see the sky

oh wow this map reminds me of that one map TwentySeven did for 2.4 ;D
