Hardware rendering is a big step and probably the biggest addition to the game in it's 10 years of existence. I run 4.1 faster than most of other players. I can actually play on 50 slot servers with solid 125 FPS and graphics pushed to the max. 4.1 doesn't use the GPU, it's all CPU, while in HD it's the other way round. I can agree on Blender 2.4, but they reworked the UI in 2.5 and it's a HUGE improvement....

Make a screenshot of Radiant, create a mask for that layer, fill it with black, put some white in the center and blur it to the edge of the image

^ No it's not.

Depending on how you use them it's not necessarily laggy. If you got like a hundred glass windows it won't do too much since the entities don't even need to be updated.
If you're going for destructible walls or buildings, screw it. :)

Entity limit is 1024. Keep in mind that 64 entities are reserved for player stuff (with 32 max players, that is), every spawn, every nade, every dropped item is another entity. Stay below 400 in the map and you'll be fine. Distance should be based on volume of the sound. You can set the music key in...

Maybe you have music disabled yourself? :D
Also check the console for errors.
Try /developer 1 and starting the map again if it doesn't show anything. Feel free to upload the log if you can't understand the output.

And you're sure s_musicvolume is above 0?

Could be possible they disabled it in UrT, maybe someone at FS can help you there

Auth doesn't work with non-vanilla clients. Non-vanilla clients show all servers instead of only 4.2 ones, trying to connect results in an error message: "Invalid game folder" which won't help anyone without at least some technical knowledge. Sorry, the release feels very rushed and unfini...
