The use of shaders “must” die.

By far shaders are the number one FPS performance sucking vampire in 4.2 and by their nature can not be hardware accelerated. In all probability scripting will be used instead.

Our new engine design, code named Iceberg, will not be using brushes (ie bsp) but rather mesh based objects. Good size and UrT needs more smallish maps.

Feed back we have been getting on some of our test maps is a need for smaller designs with vertical game play.

You use 3DS Max right?

If so just make it and I'll be happy to check it over for you as to ideas and options.
