Afaik you can shear and stretch your texture. But there's no use for a shader like that. If you really wanted to do that (I don't know why you would want to do that) you'd probably do it in photoshop or gimp.

Yep, I've got the same issue in win 7. You can't save a new map but you can overwrite an existing file. So just create a new mymap.txt in your maps folder and rename it to mymap.map. Open it in radiant, do your work, and save overwriting your mymap.map.

I like the wooden barrel model. Just a few things to mention: 1. You could save some tris by removing all those inner faces of the hoops. Having a closer look there's even a second ring of faces inside that you could remove. 2. I probably wouldn't make those two handles that detailed. 3. I'd rather ...

iirc I've used 13 skyboxes in HappyWorldJumps. The only problem is that you can only have one properly working shader with q3map_sun. So you have to light at least one world completely with entities/light emitting brushes.

But yeah, the idea is not bad. This would speed up mapping for 4.1, but not really needed if mapping for HD. Hmm, or could this even work with models? idk

I don't like the fact that the words are upside down. If you turned the triangle you could read the text. I do like the shells with C M M on them. But why not put something in the logo that's mapping related?
