I tried the second idea you had to no avail, and i dont quite know what the first one means or how to do it :/ when i scaled up the terrain texture it did nothing... everything stayed the same size?

Here's my terrain shader- http://www.mediafire.com/?cx1osc57058h4a1 and they're all 512x512, i actually scaled them up in hopes that would make a difference!

Oh sorry man haha, glad you got it though. Sooo i dont quite know what youre saying, but could you possibly edit the shader to whatever youre saying needs to be done...?

Oh hmmm... i honestly wouldnt have noticed that... thanks much Del. ill check out socks website (very familiar with sock and his texture blending tutorials haha) for some more info, as well as both of the maps mentioned in hopes to learn something ive also found this here- http://www.normansblog.de/...

Hmmm i see... and the terrain tutorials frommmm sock im assuming? Also could i just make an .ase model for terrain...? or would that be terribly inefficient?

Well here's how i map (i know youre scared already )- I have a terrain, general layout, and some buildings and models made. Once im finished populating certain areas with "reference points" (perhaps a specific model, building, etc.) i take a walk in game and decide various things- how i ca...
