Could we link phpBB to MediaWiki in some way? Would be pretty neat instead of having two separate accounts.

Haven't touched phpBB in quite a while, but I think it would be enough if you remove us from the "new users" group for now. Also, while we are at groups, you may want to add people to the global moderator group instead of assigning forum moderator rights to every single person. And another...

If you're willing to use a modified server I could look into doing that in the server code.
But if you have B3 running anyway that's probably easier, I just hate Python lol.
