To map for what. An ancient engine?[/img] I map because I like this game, not Crysis, not CS, but UrT; I'm sure the other engines are eons ahead but I don't care about what they can offer to me UrT is the only game that has been able to keep me playing for years, without ever getting tired, so no m...

Re: Making Models

Every model is nonsolid in game, you have to manually clip them (there should be a auto-clipping tool somewhere, but I don't know it)

When you take models from other maps make sure not to break them using the same shader path

Re: Light the hole map and water

Just another of my guesses
You have a watercaulk texture with a working shader, but does the water texture (upper face) have a shader?
If you make a watercaulk only brush you *should* be able to swim, maybe is the top part which makes it solid

Re: Little problem with max

Alright thanks, after some attempts I got a decent outcome, I don't know most of modifiers yet so the line was easier to work with, also because my handle hasn't exactely a cylindrical shape, it's almost squared in the end and there is a... mmh how's called... well see yourself, where the thumb shou...

Little problem with max

I'm trying to model a window's handle out of a line, but when I hit surface in the modifier list the last 4 vertices disappear, and I really don't understand why m m If you know a better technique I'm listening edit: if I uncheck "remove interior patches" they show up again, but are messed...

Re: Grass

That's an effect you would notice only from above, I think it looks bad when you actually play on it
