Not at all. Your vector graphic skills are excellent. And ideas quite good.
However despite the quality of your work it would be more fitting for a website dedicated to drawings.

He is right, pencil logo even though it looks nice doesn't matches our activities. Leave the logo making to me.

Wait with the logo until we finish the homepage and determine C.M.M.'s visual identity. Otherwise you'll end up with a logo that doesn't matches the template and that looks hideous.
