alturt is pretty much dead, forget about it. Forget the whole idTech3 engine, forget Unity, forget XreaL, forget UDK, forget CryEngine. I think a game like that would require a slightly more advanced engine that can handle open spaces better.

I think what we need is an FPS game that has a online campaign mode. So people chose a side first, then log into a server, walk around the world and fight AI's to gain exp and then join their army in a real full scale war. A combination of 2 most popular genres, MMORPG and MMOFPS. Cause lets face it...

He doesnt map or do anything with game dev. he could join us though.. I know he doesn't maps but he's a cool guy and experienced player. Plus he can play with guys and test maps, he's an experienced and hanging around your ass must have left a mark.... @ Smaka I'm coming nowhere near down under.......

I know, that's what i thought too when i saw the layout. But the fact is community prefers variety to symmetry. Quite a few people won't give him their vote cause the map is symmetrical.

I think we should add a "resource request" section on the forum. So people can ask for textures/models/sounds/shaders in one place.
