Just go easy on the depth and it will look better.

Thanks a lot Rayne, the only suggestion I would give is to annotate what you did and how from 1:40 on.

1:40 an on is just the part where i made the alpha channel.
I'm not really sure what more i can explain there. Make a selection, invert it, paint it wit ha pain bucket and then adjust the contrast.
Nothing to it.
