how to properly make map hull with skybox

I need to learn how to properly make a hull for a map with skybox. It's very easy, If all of the walls are the same height, like this:

What if buildings have different height? How to make brushwork? I don't want to box map.

You build the skybox out of several parts so they match the height of roofs.

Yes, cut it up into smaller pieces to create a lid that will seal off an area.
