*HELP* GTKRadiant 1.5 - Windows 7 (Ultimate)

Post by Cleric{DKMs} »

I would like to know something, what do i need to do in order to save my projects?
Since everything works well on Windows XP, but Windows 7 has some issues with GTKRadiant 1.5. ("Invalid Path" when ever i try to save)
I've got pretty much everything else working successfully, but i can't find a way to save my projects and turn my project into an actual and fully functioning map.

Thanks in advance.

PS: Working on a Urban Terror map, or at least trying to.

Yep, I've got the same issue in win 7. You can't save a new map but you can overwrite an existing file. So just create a new mymap.txt in your maps folder and rename it to mymap.map. Open it in radiant, do your work, and save overwriting your mymap.map.
Have a happy day! :)

Aha!
After creating the ".map" file first, and moving my "GTKRadiant 1.5" directory out of "Program Files", i'm now able to go into GTK Radiant, open the ".map" file, work with it, and Save it.
And once i opened it again, everything was still there!!

Thanks a lot, HappyDay and Rayne!!!

Same here, just minimize GTKRadiant and bring it back up, or you can simply move the window (by holding right click and moving the mouse, i mean) at least a bit to make it go away
