AAS Error

Post by RedSnappa »

I was making an AAS file and got the message AAS_MAX_REACHABILITYSIZE. It said "AAS file created in 909 seconds" before this error occurred. Will my AAS file still work?

For reference, my computer normally takes 50-100 seconds to generate AAS files.

EDIT: It seems my AAS file didn't create even though the process said it did.

Start botclipping your map.

I think I will have to do this. My spacestation map has many places that bots shouldn't be going. I have never had a need to botclip until now because I have never had this problem before.

You need to botclip everything just a little bit complex, especially stairs. A slope will do fine.
Botclip mustn't be accurate, just put a FEW brushes on details. The less complex the clips, the better.
