Spiral ladder

Post by RedSnappa »

I don't know if anyone else has had this idea, but sadly it does not work. A player climbing around on a curved ladderclip will fall off wherever the bend in the surface is.

The is nothing wrong with the structure in-game; it is just that a player can't stay on it. When a player gets to the curved part, they lose grip and fall off the ladder.

Yes, you can climb up and down or move sideways, but now we know that the surface must be horizontally flat. I am working on determining the maximum polar angle for a ladderclip; I only know that it does not have to be exactly parallel to the Z-axis.
