weird tris count

OK so here's my problem. I made a small winter test landscape to make some pine trees models.
So i finish the models, import into radiant, compile and fire up UrT.

Here's the result

The tris and verts count makes no sense. There's no way that scene is rendering barely 600 triangles.

It COULD be an "issue" with the bumpy client since that one uses a different rendering pipeline - but I have no idea

Could you repeat the test in vanilla?

Excellent call Rylius, that's why i love you.

Models still load normally , no max exceeded bullshit errors. But the tris count is now around 14 000.
Fucking amazing, great improvement i must admit. Huge tris reduction.
