I don't know man i hope broken switches get fixed soon.
Lightmapscale on models is 0.125. Shadows are very dark now, but to be honest i like it. I always liked strong shadows and high contrast. Makes the game look like Doom 3 a little.
Thanks Flajeen. Maybe I'm just being picky and wasting time trying to fix something that either doesn't needs fixing or can't be fixed.

Lol, phong shading works for me with newest 27's q3map2. You could try it without q3map_shadeangle and q3map_nonplanar btw. Lightmapscale 0.125 will make fps drop
