All maps are grid-like If You force them a bit..

I'm going to drop this layout for now.

I might make a map out of it, but if i do i will do it just for making that place.

I will folow Del's suggestion and draw a layout every day for a month.
That way i will get at leest one working layout and can toy with many ideas.

nice layout partypoison, i think that your longer hallways should have some more cover incorporated near the start/end of each hallway. such as crates, billboards and such, they can be used for cover from snipers, or even a network of steam pipes with steam blowing out for visual cover. other than that this map looks very promising!

ps. i /devmap tested it and ran around in it for 4-5 mins b4 i realized there wasn't anyone there to fight! it's that intriguing!
i like the pipe layout on the wall that can be used as a catwalk for elevated attack advantage, nice touch! it just needs some more items for cover in well placed positions and i think this map is a go for tdm/ctf/bomb

Otherwise he'll leave CMM and join the FS Team :D
