As I'm the oldest, I decided to make a quick news update - for the more casual members of CMM, just so you know what's happening.
Since Rayne departed (sad faces) we (Rylius and myself) decided that CMM should continue to grow and develop of it's own accord. That means there is no real leader, just members who contribute in their own way to the group. The members themselves lead the direction and activities.
I happen to know there are several interesting side projects between small groups of CMM, I'm sure you'll be hearing about these in time.
We've somehow managed for attract 101 forum members - which is cool - Hi everyone. If you need anything or have any suggestions don't be afraid to ask.
I'm hoping the CMM frag team will develop a little more in the near future, I think there might be a casual match between CMM and urtJumpers in the pipeline, problem is all our best players are also jumpers - so we might need to recruit a few more players. PM flajeen if you're interested in playing for the CMM team.
Also, if you're interested in playing against the CMM team - also PM flajeen, he'll whip something up.
There is a new CMM community project (project Hollywood) for which we'll be needing artists, mappers, shader specialists, musicians and modellers in the near future. It's an ambitious project. If you're interested in joining us you'll need to get your arse onto the #cmm irc channel on freenode or PM me, Rylius or DagF for more information.
We're coming to the end of the urtJumpers/CMM map making event - phew and we'll be switching the CMM server over to a jump map server in the next few days to host the completed maps.
I think thats about all, we're still looking for wiki contributors - if you've got something you feel should be added to the wiki let us know... or add it yourself.
