Hi, i am back after a mustbreak (my grapiccard crashed totaly) and i want to release the Urban Terror Mapping Package 3 in some weeks.
Sth new:
- Including a mapppacker (packaging your map with a simple click in the Radiant)
- (hopefully) a .def that includes some detailbrushes like stairs, doors, so that it looks realistic
- xandaxs acommon package// sry, xan, but its not possible :(

Have u guys some ideas???

.def is for entities, you can't put brushes in there.
Keeping a couple models and textures ready is nice though.

oh, i think i wrote that wrong, i mean sth like the measurment files, not a brush

The mappacker WORKS!!! (just for windowsusers)
there are two ways:
- Standard: Pack your Map with all .shaders, the .bsp, the .txt (if exists), the minimap (if exists), the levelshot (if exists), and all your textures and other stuff that normaly is in the .pk3
- Open Source: Like standard, but it includes the .map and the .md3-files
for a big tree, you need a small axe.

Only for windows users? Now that's bad. A lot of mappers use Linux, you should give it a shot. If you can't do something we will help you.

if you can give me any console-targeted mappacker for linux, i will add one for linux, too
also for mac

btw: is there ANY way to get the .aas from the .map-file?
if yes, pls send me the compiler, then i will add that, too
