ut4_slide

Hi :)
I though I would just share with you my current projects. I am working on 3 maps. 1 for Unvanquished and 2 for UrT.
But i will just show you my main one for now :P

Ut4_slide
Slide is probably the map I have spent the most time on as it requires tri-souping for most of the map as it is mainly on a slope. The map follows a 1940's theme generally based around the war. Although one team may have a slight advantage due to the slope, I have made the slope on slight as well as moving spawns further out and adding obstacles to even it out. So far I have tested it a few times in UrT and it proved to have fast gameplay from both sides. This is still in alpha stage until the entire layout is completed . The layout may look confusing but that's because many of it is yet to be completed but you can see the main way points.

Haha. A lot of models that yet to be placed I just keep above the map so I don't have to keep importing :)

Just an update, although it doesnt look too different, you would be surprised at how much has been done, nearly all indoor way points have been completed, and all thats really left is texturing, detailing, modelling and clipping.

Hey, Looks cool :)
I know how you keep saying its not that onesided. Though is think having a onesided map is not always bad, i mean in a match the teams usually splits side anyway :)
Look at Counterstrike maps for example, they have tons of maps that is onesided and they are still played :)

I see this map as different because its located in a slide, UrT community is known not to like different but still i say go for it!
At least i Love different :D

Thanks guys! And yeah swiitan, I think this becoming more of a team survivor map haha. But for the purpose of multiple uses, where do you guys suggest I put flags?
