Mappers are so artistic and opinionated, it's seriously like herding cats.
I love this forum, you don't see this kind of energy on many boards, I'm starting to think with so much creativity and talent we could pretty much build anything...
This site needs a re-design and a new logo and a final usebar. I'm hoping to move the site to a new dedicated 24 core rack mounted server over xmas with 2 urt servers (one HD) - submit your ideas for the total look and feel of the whole site and we'll have a vote on it.

Sorry i was starting to feel left out 
so i whipped this up in a few minutes... simple, dark, and going to have an alpha channel after some revision (probably will incorporate into my map)

Just a quick FYI - if you upload your images here (upload attachement at the bottom of the full editor) the site correctly resizes the images - you can even upload by url.
If you put them on imageshack (rayne) and then link to them (which is bonkers) the resize doesn't happen.
