I dunno how I'd make the catmouse -

I've spent about 40 minutes on the strip of tape and now I'm at that really boring part where I move the mesh 1 pixel at a time x,y,z trying to get it to fit the model, it's not quite center and it needs to go back a little bit. The texture is just a cardboard temporary one.

I have to go for a run so I thought I'd post my progress.

Well if the strip itself is derived from the model then all you have to do is select a single vertex and snap it to the original vertex on the head model.

I could have but I'd deleted the actual player model long ago and I was committed to the move it left a bit, see how it looks approach.

And you can download the pk3 containing the md3 model, quite a large texture, the max model and a gimp version of the texture... HERE

It only works with red player 0, funred = deleye

Fix it up, play around with it if you like - it was an interesting exercise for me.
