The window still needs a proper texture to replace the test one, and of course there's a small matter of details like a candle, proper unwrapping and so on.

Now you see why i prefer max before radiant. It would take me forever to build this in radiant and it would never look as good.
Besides it's a good practice, you have to know modeling if you want to advance to other engines.

I think it's time a CMM member (Rayne) created a tutorial on how to do this, just so others can experiment and perhaps expand on the subject.

I think i already posted a link to the tutorial that explains it nicely. It's extremely easy really.
I could explain it right now in 6 or 7 steps but i guess i should make a quick tutorial with images so it's easier to understand it.
